Join us on this 10 day boat trip around the remote Southern Atols of the Maldives fishing, diving, surfing, visiting stunning islands and generally relaxing.

We have booked the Gurahali, a new, 29-metre motor vessel that is ideally suited to the remote areas of the Maldives. Built in 2008, this classy cruiser features a blend of Maldivian traditions and Western design. With a cruising speed of 12 knots, we can expect to enjoy great fishing, snorkeling and diving plus un-crowded surf in remote locations.

Cabins –spacious, private, guest cabins that are both modern and tasteful. Cabins are serviced daily and feature air-conditioning, private ensuites and hot showers. Each cabin offers the choice of a double bed or two separate bunks.

Features – Bose home theatre system; movie library and ipod; licensed  , fresh juices and cocktails; spacious living room; email; sundeck with lounges; outdoor dining on aft deck or on top deck under the stars; fishing equipment; two tenders – a centre console rigid inflatable with high speed 90 HP plus a fully shaded 50 foot doni-style boat with surfboard racks.

Flight Details: The best flight will be to take Emirates landing into Male 08:35 Thurs 4th October. Depart Male Sun 14th October 13:05 with Air Srilanka (lands Dubai 21:35). Domestic flights on Maldivian are around $320 return.

Diving: Diving is extra and we are trying to negotiate a package deal. Due to being in the remote Southern Atols the boat company will need to hire all the kit and it will be more expensive. I am trying to get an unlimited dive package for $3000 so depending on how many people want to dive it could be $300-400 per person for unlimited diving. I will discuss this with the boat company closer to the time.

Boat price: $2870 (or AED 10,600) per person (this may change slightly depending on the final amount of people)

Flights: Emirates Flights are around 3500 aed. Maldivian Air is around $350 (or AED 1,300) for the domestic flight.
